We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Programming…

Today I’m taking a break from blabbing about curtains and paint color to shamelessly brag about the sugary cutness of my little sweetie.  At 10 months old, we finally got around to getting his 9 month pictures taken.

I still haven’t figured out how to work my DSLR well enough to take our own, so I called around and Sears (of all places) was offering a vintage theme this month.  So we tried them out.

Total rocking success.

Behold the cuteness!

Our little family has several ties to the railroad.  We’d bought that hat before he was even born, but I found those little overalls at Target.  Perfect with his toy train and that black and white background.

Doll.

And because I simply can’t live without naked baby pics…

Tee hee!

And one more little scene, just for fun.  The ol’ baby in a bucket.

Such a little ham for the camera!

Speaking of, we picked up ours on Friday.  $187 later, it’s working, but I’m still without a lens cap and strap.  *le sigh*  Time to start practicing so maaaaybe I’ll be good enough to take his year pictures by myself.

Probably not though.

Anyone else had good luck with Sears?  Or the other run-of-the-mill mall photographers?

  1. Loving him! He makes me want to squeeze and squish him a little bit…~embarassed~ sorry! Have lots of favorites, hard to pick but I’m loving that one where he’s crouched behind the bath bucket just smiling away! Such a photogenic little one, and such good temperment!

  2. Such a cutie & I love the train themed pics!! Simply adorable.

Other than the hurry-up & wait game that I always seem to run into at Sears :) , they are by far my favorite as far as store photographers go.

    • We went to Pennies last time, and they were ok. I liked Sears better as far as staff, props, and space… but we did have to wait a pretty long time..

  3. Seriously?! Could that little man be any cuter?! I LOVE his little conductor outfit!

I took Emma to Sears for most of her pre-1 year pix and was always happy w/them…I’ve even got some w/her nakee in the tub w/the rubber duckies! By the time Eli came around I was taking pix myself, so he never had the pleasure of having an old can full of coins rattled in his little face! :)
