Delicious Noms.

I’m a bit of a foodie.  Which is really just a cutsie way of saying that I’m hungry and eat a lot.  In fact, the board I have with the most pins is my delicious noms board, and it’s the only one serious enough to warrant a period in the title.

I’m mostly in charge of the menu planning because while D is actually a really good cook, he kind of doesn’t care if he eats or not.  Think of it like this: I am a cow that grazes all day, and he is a snake that eats one lump of oatmeal and is set.

Anyway, I was hungry and made a pizza inspired by this pizza.

Buffalo Roam- chicken, artichoke, sundried tomato pizza

Top whatever dough tickles your fancy with mozzarella, shredded chicken (I grabbed one of those little rotisserie ones and it was good!), spinach, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, and green onion.

Then don’t forget to forget to take a picture of the finished product.

The point of this exercise was mostly to milk you for more pizza recipes because I’m a lazy foodie and pizza is easy.  Got a favorite?  Please link below!

  1. Did I tell you about the Pizza dough Jade and I made? It is just one cup Greek yogurt and one cup self rising flour, knead for 8 minutes, roll out, top, and bake! It was super yummy and healthy too!

  2. I usually make my pizza dough in the bread machine. Tastes like the Pizza shop to me. Pretty much I’ll eat just about anything on a pizza with favorites being alfredo pizza and one that uses a sour dough crust recipe topped with baby shrimp.

  3. Mmmm..pizza. I don’t really have a pizza recipe though. I make the dough and then just put on whatever we have in the fridge or sometimes I’ll copy a restaurant pizza.

P.S. I am now following you on Pinterest.

  4. Ooo, we haven’t done a make-your-own-pizza in a while! Would be fun for Super Bowl Sunday, Amy. Thanks for the inspiration, girlie!

PS — When you’re a teeny little cute girl like you, you CAN eat all day long… those days are long gone for me! xo hm

  5. That looks amazing. We like to make barbeque chicken pizzas, with bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce, broccoli and chicken. SO good, and the broccoli makes you forget about the unhealthiness of the sauce.

  6. One of our favorite pizza joints is a place called The Rock Wood Fired Pizza. They have a pizza there called the Crazy Train and by title alone is perfect for us. We recreated it at home with pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, bacon, caramelized onion, garlic, oregano, and hot cherry peppers. Another fav is one I made based on an appetizer a friend makes (the app is a dollop of cream cheese and a banana pepper slice wrapped in a thin slice of salami and held together with a toothpick) with salami, sweet Italian sausage, banana peppers, goat cheese, mozzarella. So good!!!

  7. Oh this looks yummy! Our favourite pizza is mini pizzas made on English muffins…makes a perfect meal and always means leftovers for lunch or breakfast.

  8. That looks awesome. I’ve started using the Pioneer Woman’s pizza dough recipe and it seems to work pretty well! I also love using rotisserie chicken – and fresh mozzerella, basil, tomatoes, and white sauce. Basically a margarita pizza with chicken. :-)
