Yesterday, I received an email from my pal Bliss, over at Bliss Ranch entitled “a little ditty”.

And it made me laugh out loud.  A lot.

I asked her if it would be ok with her if I shared it with all of you.  Although she’s usually pretty shy about sharing her composing abilities, but she did give the green light on one condition – that I share this picture with you.

 This is from when I shared the story of us.  D wishes to remain anonymous on the blog, but Bliss saw right through the sunglasses and beard and realized that I am, in fact, married to Brad Pitt.

You should probably also know that the title of my blog comes from Kansas’ theme song, Home on the Range.

FANTASTIC, right?!  I swear, we’ll see her name in neon lights one day.

Since my midnight picture of the cabinets didn’t turn out so hot for yesterday’s post, D was kind enough to stop by the build yesterday and take a few more.

I was pretty huffy about painting our kitchen cabinets but now that they’re here, painted, and slightly distressed, the clouds parted and for the first time I could see the rainbow forming in the kitchen area where the cabinets will go. 

I think I’ll really like them!

The cabinets for ours and Junior’s bathrooms are also in, and stained, and beautiful!
